Why I’m Reimagining Everything

There comes a time in every woman’s journey when the volume of the world gets too loud, and the only way forward is to get still. That’s where I’ve been. Not absent, but recalibrating.

As a solopreneur, every part of my brand flows through my lived experience. When I grow, the work shifts. And recently, I felt something stirring—an invitation to move differently. To speak more deliberately. To come home to myself.

Then, out of nowhere, I saw a Lancôme commercial featuring Julia Roberts. She said, “We’re not doing what we used to do. We’re doing what we want to do.” Just like that, the clarity landed. Their entire campaign was speaking to women in midlife—our stories, our presence, our power. It mirrored everything I’ve been moving toward with Black Women Amplified and my coaching work.

Here’s what’s changing:

I’m curating space for Black women in midlife, women who’ve done the heavy lifting and are now ready to reclaim their softness without apology.

I’m shifting away from the constant visibility grind and toward nourishing conversations that matter. Less of me online. More of me in alignment.

And I’m returning to the foundation of everything I do: storytelling.

Because in a world that tries to silence us, our stories are sacred. They carry our wisdom, our lessons, our legacy. But before we amplify those stories, we must first rewrite the ones we’ve been telling ourselves—the ones shaped by burnout, fear, and survival.

I’ve updated my websites. I’m shifting my content. And I’ve adopted a new mantra:

Build the dream that heals you.
That’s what I’m doing. Fully. Freely. Without hesitation.
